Racing and Sports Car Chassis Design Costin and Phipps
The first word in chassis design comes from Michael Costin and David Phipps as they take a birds eye view at what made some of the historic racing car chassis designs great. From the Mercedes 300 SL to the Lotus 25 the authors key objectives of a race car chassis and how championship winning designs were successful. This was the first book I ever read on the subject of racing cars and it is still one I go back to today. I’d recommend it to any one who wants to learn the basics of race car chassis’s and how to approach the car system as a whole.
