April 2022 3D Printing Time Lapse

A collection of 3D prints I did this past April. All of the prints are for prototyping new designs for the IIHR Model Quadski. The first is a new hydrodynamic and sealing motor and gearbox cover for driving the rear wheels. We expect to see a 50% reduction in drag compared to the previous version as well as a 1700% increase in buoyant force at the cost of 44% more mass. The second are some parts to upgrade the current marine steering system. Stiffness and reliability are the main goals, as well as getting rid of as many fasteners as possible! Printer is a Creality CR-10 V2 with BL Touch. I've got octoprint hooked up and shooting on a trust Logitech C270 webcam. Fixed my lighting setup on the last print with some peel and stick LED's.
